Staff quick start

Introducing Lingwell takes a sentence.

You do not need to teach anyone how to use it. Your part is to make it visible at the moment it might help, and then let the person begin on their own.

What staff need to know

A brief introduction is usually enough.

What it is

A guided conversation that helps someone organize their thoughts, work through something difficult, or prepare for a conversation.

Who sees it

Conversations are private by default. The participant decides whether to create a summary and whether to share it.

How privacy works →

How people begin

You will rarely need to explain the technical side. If someone asks, point them to the support contact for your program.

When it may help

It does not need to be reserved for serious moments.

  • Preparing for an appointment, meeting, or difficult conversation
  • Trying to explain something that is hard to put into words
  • Working through stress, uncertainty, or change
  • Reflecting on something that happened
  • Weighing a decision
  • Working between counseling, advising, or case-management sessions
Suggested wording

A sentence, tied to the moment.

Before an advising appointment

“If it would help to organize your thoughts before we meet, Lingwell is a place to do that.”

Before a difficult conversation

“Lingwell can help you sort out what you want to say first.”

After a difficult experience

“If you want more time with what happened, Lingwell is there.”

Between appointments

“Between meetings, Lingwell can help you keep track of what has changed and what to bring back.”
