Where might Lingwell fit in your organization?

People often need help finding words before they can use the support available to them. Explore how Lingwell could help patients, clients, caregivers, students, and staff reflect on what they are experiencing and prepare for conversations that matter.

The idea

A way to prepare for the moments that matter.

An appointment. A difficult conversation. A change in care. A hard week at work. Organizations create opportunities for people to receive help, but the people arriving at those moments may not yet know what they want to say. Lingwell gives them a private space to put experience into words and decide what to carry forward, before, between, or after the services already available to them.

Seven settings

Different settings. Different moments. A common need for words.

Lingwell can be offered to the people an organization serves, their families, or the staff doing the work. These are possibilities, not claims of demonstrated outcomes.

Healthcare and medical services

Hospitals, clinics, specialty practices, patient navigation

A patient who knows an appointment matters may still lose the words once the room gets busy. Before the visit, Lingwell helps them work out what they want understood and what they need to ask. The clinician has something specific to respond to.

Behavioral health and recovery

Treatment programs, recovery communities, counseling practices

Someone in a recovery program may carry a feeling they cannot yet tell apart from craving, shame, or exhaustion. Lingwell gives them somewhere to stay with it until more precise language forms, to bring to a counselor, a group, or a sponsor.

Introduced by a counselor or program lead.

Caregiving and family support

Home care, caregiver programs, aging services, disability and family support

Caring for a spouse or parent for years can leave a person unable to say what any of it has been like. A caregiver can begin describing the losses and the moments that still matter, and keep or share it as they choose.

Veteran- and military-serving organizations

Veterans’ services, peer programs, military family support

A veteran about to meet a caseworker may fear forgetting what they meant to ask. Before the meeting, Lingwell helps them work through their questions and what matters most about each.

Workplaces and professional teams

Employers, firms, associations, teams in demanding fields

An employee using a counseling benefit may be unsure where to start in a first session. The night before, Lingwell helps them sort out what has been on their mind. They arrive with a clearer starting point than a blank hour.

Offered through HR or wellbeing channels. Entirely optional.

Community and social-service organizations

Agencies, shelters, food and housing programs, family services

A person with a benefits appointment may fear they will freeze, as they did last time. The day before, Lingwell helps them sort what they need to say and what matters most.

Schools, colleges, and universities

Student services, counseling, advising, residence life, campus programs

A student who helps care for a grandparent may need to ask a professor for an extension without knowing how to explain why. Lingwell helps them work out what to say and how much to share.

Student services pages, orientation, advising, or handouts.
